CALYPSO is a Trinidad art-form, with it's roots in Africa, this is where The Fighter excelled. his real name is ( Shirland Wilson) he came from the village of Golden Grove on the east coast Demerara in Guyana. Lived especially in the Caribbean, and performed world wide. Most of his songs are meant to provoke laughter, While some touched on the serious topics of the day.
